Android
Try the Android preview APK. It is a development-signed test build, not a Google Play release.
Download Android preview ↓Connect a Windows computer
- Add the computer under My family.
- Download its private connection file.
- Install the Windows agent as an administrator and select the connection file.
- Check that the computer shows a recent connection in your family dashboard.
The installer is an unsigned preview, not yet verified on a real Windows computer. It requires HTTPS and is not a finished consumer release.
Connect the mobile app
- Open the app and choose Connect my account.
- Open secure sign-in, sign in or create an account, and compare the displayed code.
- Approve your phone and return to the app. Your family controls will appear automatically.
Only install previews for testing. Do not disable Play Protect or other device security protections.
For anyone who wants to inspect the code
The Windows agent is available separately under the MIT license with build instructions. The web platform's code remains private.
